Community Event
Little Sturgeon Estuary Nature Preserve Info Session
This event has ended
It took place on September 9, 2026. Below is what we shared.
Door County Land Trust is hosting a casual, drop-in information session about the proposed Little Sturgeon Estuary Nature Preserve — 338 acres that the organization hopes to protect as the 16th nature preserve. If protected, the new preserve would include 3.5 miles of hiking trails, free and open to the public.
Stop by Harbor House to hear what’s ahead for this remarkable place and the many ways the community will be able to enjoy it, from hiking to wildlife watching. Staff will be on hand to share the vision and answer your questions.
No RSVP necessary — just show up. Every attendee receives one free drink ticket, plus a chance to win Door County Land Trust merch.
We’ll see you there!
