Calling all Storytellers! WildWords 2019, April 22nd

The Door County Land Trust and Write On, Door County invite you to tell a story at “Wild Words: Celebrate the Lands and Waters of Door County” an event to take place on Monday, April 22, from 7:00-9:00 pm at Crossroads at Big Creek, Sturgeon Bay.
Storytellers are asked to use twenty pictures and twenty seconds per picture. The format gives each storyteller 6 minutes and 40 seconds to interpret the theme in any way they wish. The Door County Land Trust coordinates the technical aspects so storytellers need only worry about their picture and their stories.
Interested in telling a story, but unsure of where to start? Let us help you! Door County Land Trust and WriteOn, Door County partner to offer a series of free creative labs that will help you prepare your story with 20 pictures. These sessions will offer guidance both on writing and technical support. Labs will consist of approximately 60 minutes of group instruction and 30 minutes of one-on-one assistance. Students are especially encouraged to take part! Creative labs are free, but space is limited so advance registration is suggested.
