Enjoy a family-friendly guided discovery hike through the beautiful Bear Creek Nature Preserve, designed to help both young explorers and adults connect with nature. Led by experienced guides, this easy-to-moderate hike explores the preserve’s diverse ecosystems while introducing participants to local plants, wildlife, and natural features. Along the way, families will enjoy interactive activities and engaging educational stops that highlight the area’s history, conservation efforts, and environmental significance, making this a fun and entertaining outdoor adventure for all ages.

About This Preserve
Bear Creek Nature Preserve
This 75-acre preserve — DCLT's first new Nature Preserve in over a decade — features 50-foot glacial riverbanks, naturally reproducing rainbow trout, and a landscape being restored from dairy farm to wild sanctuary.
